Angelys
Instructor of Tribal Teens: Thursdays: 5:30-6:25pm
Angelys is known for her positive, supportive attitude and energetic, loving personality. She wants to share her joy and happiness in dance with the wonderful members of her Tribal Teens class at Solstice Studio. Angelys has studied many different genres of dance, including ballet; modern; Spanish; Egyptian and Turkish belly dance; and Khatak. She became a part of Dalia Carella’s original dance collective, participated in the Venus Uprising shows, and found her home with Sera Solstice and East Coast Tribal. As part of the Solstice studio tribe, she continues to expand her repertoire: including new styles such as fusion integration, urban fusion, dark tribal belly dance and hip hop. Tribal bellydance and the East Coast tribal family have been a blessing to her. The lifelong friendships which Angelys has forged as a result of studying at Solstice are among her most treasured. Solstice is an example of an artistic community where people of different cultures and backgrounds have united in their love of dance; and grown to love and care for one another. Angelys feels extremely fortunate to be part of this incredible group of individuals, and is excited to be teaching and studying at Solstice Studio. Dance is healing, dance is power, dance is love; dance is freedom! She looks forward to sharing her happiness and inspiration through the wonder that is dance.
